Demi’s practice displays her consumeristic behaviour through the form of painting. She focuses on the subject matter of cosmetics specially the amount she has collected. The removal on the products brand draws the attention to the amount rather than the appearance. Her painting style is heavily influenced by the Pop Art movement specifically the block colours and black outlines. 

I Consume II is an installation piece that will include Demi’s paintings. The paintings are placed in two different settings; the first being a bedroom and the second a shop. This is done to present the different ways in which the cosmetic items are displayed in the two locations. The piece also aims to present the extent of Demi’s consumeristic behaviour.
