I am an artist who works primarily with light and latex in an installation context, creating interesting alien-like environments which are unnerving and warped yet extremely personal and familiar. My influences stem from childhood when I was introduced to the Sci-Fi genre with films such as War of the Worlds (1953) and Doctor Who and the Daleks (1965) planting the desire for adventure, exploration and danger and as a result of growing older the perspective of this has gradually become darker in context, looking more towards the fragility and insignificance of the human race. That at any moment we could encounter a being or force far greater than our own.​
