I am a sculptural artist who is interested in death, but also in the beauty that can be found in it. My work commands a space and demands the viewers attention through their attraction to it.

Most recently I have been working with glass and other precious materials, combining their delicate, reflective and alluring smooth appearance with elements of death such as animal remains. (All ethically sourced in accordance with The Guild of Taxidermist rules) The work is influenced by my research into Ornamental Arts and how something ornamental has an ability to draw the audience in, yet has no real function, something that is present in almost all art.

Reflective surfaces are something that I have been particularly interested in recently, by using reflective surfaces within my work, it allows the audience to literally view themselves in the pieces I create.
