My work focuses on the preservation of time-honoured materials and sculptures, and how my manipulation of these materials can compromise the ontology of the ephemeral work itself. I see my ephemeral artworks as a ‘live performance’ and therefore my current artwork aims to juxtapose this notion and experiment various ways I can create ephemeral art that remains static. This work focuses on repetition, ritual and remains.
